Steam Patching Utility

Project discontinued!

Features:
  • Select patcher (no autoupdate for other patchers): GreenLuma / SmartSteam / ZSP / SteamUp! / UnDeadPatch / DSMP / Semi-Steam / Normal Steam;
  • Select the MasterServer;
  • Removing the Steam registry when you start it;
  • Client Management;
  • Update patcher, SPU and GCF-files;
  • Creating your own language packs;
  • Choose Steam language;
And much more...

Installation:
  • Download Steam Patching Utility;
  • Copy the [future] folder with Steam;
  • Start SPU;
  • Adjust;
  • Wait for the files downloading by your preferences;
  • Done;

Components:

Credits:
  • $t@t!c_V()1D - if not him, then perhaps I would have do Batch-files;
  • [user] - if not him, then I would not met with Steam Patching :-);
  • DerLaFFf - he made the current interface;
  • DragonZX - if it were not for him, steam.stars-alliance.ru would not be;
    Also thanks to those who raised my moral spirit: DarkV, Freel, 12ozmouse, Andrik, Durane, Fatman.

Hm, interesting, lets see how much userfull it is....

Select patcher: SteamUp! / SteamUp! v2 / Undead Patch / DSMP / Semi-Steam / Fire-Steam / Normal Steam.
IMHO Its much easier with simple desktop shortcuts with -steamapp parameter you can load what you wanna use.

Select the MasterServer.
Whut? There is only one userfull masterserver - setti.


Removing the registry when you start Steam.
Lololo? Whole registry? or what? If you canna clear your registry use CCleaner, nice tool.


Client Management (shutdown).
Ehm? Ye ye its too hard to shutdown steam, lets create moar apps for it.


Update patcher, loader and GCF-files
Downloading (propably latest) coutner strike source client.cfg etc from freee hosting? ehm

Disabling update Steam.
Lol why disable it.

You can customize the completion of the running client.
ad. 1

Steam language
Yes, i am chaning steam languague 50x times a day.

All in one program and without the interface (configurable file is CrackedSteam.ini).
ye, right, why create nice simple gui

Would be nice,if you add something like the shortcut log in parameter.
Example
Steam.exe -login <account> <password>

PROOF PLS! Becouse for me, with updates enabled, it take 1 second to start steam.

Yea? SteamUp! v1.4.3 and SteamUp! v2.1.2 (or later)

There will be a difference when Valve releases an update :lol:
Or when you launch Steam for the first time in the day.

And besides I'm used to not seeing Steam getting updated because some of us used the old versions of UnDead Patch.

As for MasterServers-any dev can make one,waffel1 and steamCooker did...

But the Setti is a main (and biggest).

O, I forget, loader can fully install Steam if it not exist in loader's folder (good installation not only copy Steam.exe to folder).
