(i did a search didn't find much about the game or even how to make it lan on a no internet network)

Steps on how to create on offline profile
1.launch the game
2. hit home key on keyboard
3. click signout if someone else is signed in.
4. click create new profile
5. scroll down and click blue link call create a local profile
6. enter your name you want and then click submit.

fixing it up right now

I downloaded a version that was uploaded to the forums prior. And everything is working but the LiveID. I can't get around it. So I tried what you suggested here, but I can't seem to get it to work. I created the ConnectionOverride in the registry and put the name of my network card and it still does not work.

look are you trying to use a part of the game that uses xlive because to play online you still need xlive account and you need to buy the game this is only for Lanning games not anything else.

ya, Lan game is all I want. But when I start the game it still asks me for my live ID and it also asks for a key. Why is that ?

you might have upgraded it before you started the game ...


or you doing it wrong brb going to update the form with pictures.

You mean that it supports the original game patched to 2.1 or that it supports the expansion chaos rising (i.e you're able to play chaos in lan)?

ummm i haven't got the game i have the first one but i think i need to get the game from here to upgrade it XD i extected the game from the sim sid files so i'm not to sure how to up grade to chaos rising XD

well, you cant "upgrade" to chaos rising as it's a standalone expansion. however you can just patch it with the 2.1 patch (which adds support to the expansion). i havent found any 2.1 patch to download anywhere to, but might just be me who's unlucky.

but lanning the game should be the same because its the same game and steam is only used for updating game
