hey all, not sure if any1 is familiar with this prob but it has to do with the difference in graphics between old half-life (v1.1.1.0) vs new steam half-life 1.
half-life v1.1.1.0 (non-steam):

you can see the difference between them, but i dont know whats causing it. i tried looking around the .dlls in the valve folder and the half-life folder of each version but so far no success. my old half-life is a clean install from .iso, and the steam version is from this forum. im not sure about the graphics, i tried opengl and d3d in the old version, trying to replicate the steam version's graphics without any success. seems like something in the steam version is allowing the image to become transparent while the other isnt but i cant figure out what
anyone knows what is going on?
