Hey guys. Glad to tell you that skidrow just posted the update for BO and it's cracked . It fixed all of my problems and now i'm playing with a smooth FPS on a 3 year old PC. Edit: I'm with the Skidrow Release btw, not with the older one with the .ncf files or whatever it was. For other releases it might now work properly

Jeez, it getting worse every update. My game don't even open now, i get "Steam must be running.".

with this update i can't start the game anymore...always tells me that steam must be running...
and with the old cracks, i just get a black screen now. really great

Sorry if it ruins your game but it works for me I'm with the Skidrow Release btw, not with the older one with the .ncf files or whatever it was. But here's the Files Before The Update if you don't have them :

too bad they didn't go for the update 2 tho. gonna try and see the performance with this anyway. and hopefully zombie mode is flawless now and campaign resume bug fixed.

I managed to get it working. Here it is what i did:

1. Backed up my sp files.
2. Uninstalled the game. Deleted everything.
3. Install again....
4. Download the Update 1 - SKIDROW
5. Didn't run the setup.
6. Copy the cracked content from the rar.
7. Play!

getting worse performance than before patch.. installing game again, arrgh.

edit: so my system doesn't like the patch. maybe it works for some of you.

anyway after a bit of testing, works smooth like butter for me with original skidrow crack (not patched) now all maxed (4xAA max AF) at 1600x900 after setting the BlackOps.exe priority to High. almost constant 60 fps, hiccups seem gone at least thru 15 mins into game.
system: Phenom II X4 B50 BE (Unlocked X2 550 BE) stock atm (3.1 GHz) [waiting for new xigmatek heatsink], 4 GB DDR3-1333, HD 4850 1 GB @ 750/1093.75, HDs: 1 TB WD Black, 640 GB WD Green (irrelevant, i know).

isnt that just easy ..... download the release from piratebay.org , MBB has posted the torrent , after download , you'll find the update with original files and folder "SKIDROW" which includes the cracked new update blackops.exe and blackopsmp.exe and steam_pi.dll ect ...

First install the update to the correct path of the game .

second copy all the 5 or 4 files from SKIDROW folder and paste them into the game path and replace.

well, the unpatched game was constant 60 fps only on some levels. tried the patch again, this time restating the mission and i gotta say it is a bit better.
however still far from perfect. but very playable. dips don't go much below 50 fps at least. sometimes do tho, depending on missions and amount of action.

But now I can't run a listen server on MP .

Slight performance increase though.

For me it made black ops a new game lol ,i mean i had great lag followed by great screen tearing , game was just unplayable .. but i applied that patch and now i get my normal FPS with games 45-60 and there is VERY rare screen tearing at Max-action scenes .. still not 100% perfect but for me this fixed like 70% of da problems , anyhow another patch is in underwworks which is said to fix GPU hitching , maybe by that patch it will be 100% prolly gonna wait and see .

Lol, u guys are just doing it wrong. It all works for me and the update improved performence a lot.
Just install SKIDROW version, the install update 1. Copy and over write crack files to game directory and you're all set.

But a direct link of that update where is it? i need only the new update not the all skidrow game version..

it works for me, finish the game with no lag at all
