HEy guys, I have a problem and hope that you could help me. I'm running AMx Mod X 1.8.1 on my HLDS server with a sentry gun plugin. My server is run from the actual game itself, not a custom downloaded hlds like many web tutorials use. Server starts up fine(no errors in console). But the moment someone joins my game, HLDS "stops working" (I'm running vista ultimate 32 bit). Strange thing is, when the Vista error message shows, there's a debug option, unlike normal. What's it mean? For your information, I torrented my non-steam Counter Strike 1.6 and it came with AMX Mod 0.7 and also an old metamod and statsme. SHould I update them too? link:http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3304...n_steam_CS_1.6 Possibilities: 1.) I deleted (as in delete on the keyboard. Is there a proper way?) amx mod after getting amx mod x. SOlved a plugin loading error that I had earlier. Main problem remained. 2.)I also haven't configured my router or anything (read about it somewhere but couldn't because didn't know my router password). Is that the problem? 3.)I changed my client.dll because the version(1.1.2.4) differed from my other version and those of my friends (1.1.2.2) and I kept getting the client.dll error. But it still didn't work even when I used the right version. help please? And just for some additional help (that is, if this doesn't get stopped by a moderator) I can't seem to run zombiemod either. It isn't detected by my server. PS: After poking around a bit, I discovered that it ran fine with the original amx mod with no plugins. No problems.Strange............ Thank you guys in advance. I'm posting a similar thread on the developer section because I don't know which forum to write this in. |
