Apologies with our first crack. Our newly coded Solidshield tool had a bug which was related to the VMs handling of unsupported x86 opcodes.
This caused the crashing on level 7. We located the problem and fixed it.
Dead Space 2 now plays past level 7 and to the end of the game without issue.

16GB? , i thought it was 8GB

Yeah it is 8GB (I bought the game), But the clone dvd includes everything (Languages). Does anybody know if these files are encrypted?

Does someone has the install .bat for english ?
The installer get error 1639 and the .bat's were removed... (tried manually from EASetup.exe or AutoRun.exe and it installs only 22 MB)

This release is a rip, it's not a clone dvd. just run EASetup.exe and set the destination folder to where you've unpacked the game files, it'll add some files to it also adds some infos to registry.

fix 1639 error

open _INSTALL_English.bat (notepad)

change

silent --> quiet

save & instal

I get no error, but the game copies only the following files:

Ds2\Support
Ds2\game.ico
Ds2\GDFBinary.en-us.dll

Only 9mb.

If you had read better, the message was written in Feb. 10, 2010. I know it's an old info.....

this is a tough one, the executable is repacking itself on launch checking md5sums and signatures if matched to create a legit chain
also this one includes RCU (Control Unpacker)
so i think this one will be tough to crack...
the game executable is full of encrypted data
small trace will brake the chain
oh and yeah the master key is server side

i will tinker on it a little more and keep posted on progress
cracking this shit

i buy my games and i suggest you do the same!
