I already tried to run it with the css standalone of setti. I installed the css standalone inc. updates. Then I installed CSProMod 1.05 and copied the cspromod folder in the main directory of the css standalone. I changed the startparameters from hl2.exe -game cstrike -console to hl2.exe -game cspromod -console. When I start the game it shortly loads and then crashes with following error:

Can anyone help?

Facing the same problem here too. I know the solution is to install "Source SDK Base 2007". But how to do it with a standalone installer? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Yeah that's the point. I just tried to copy the sdk folder in the css standalone and overwrite the existing files. The game is starting now, but it's kinda broken, no fonts are displayed just the background. I'm not very familiar with with source and game modding I'm sure it's an easy problem for the modders and cracks out there.

Anyhow, I found a different way to make it work. I used smartsteam and copied the gcf-files from source, the prodmod folder and the sdk folder from a valid version. It works now. If you can't make it work that way. Let me know maybe I can help.

The problem is that I can access the internet only through a proxy. So steam doesnt work for me. So I need something that can be downloaded through http.
