I bought and installed MW2 the legal way through Steam, updating all patches to the recent version. But the thing is, neither Steam, the game itself and the MW2 SP and MP executables are showing the version number. So I have a question to ask, what's the latest version for MW2 for the PC version? I looked in Wikipedia, and they said it's 1.2.208. But I saw a MW2 MP crack somewhere in this website that said that version is 1.3.37a. I am confused in that part. Also is there a way to run MW2 Single Player without loading Steam (meaning to run the game independently as a non-steam program). I looked in various websites and there's not even a non-steam crack for that, not even for the latest version of MW2! iw4mp.exe and iw4sp.exe latest version, both works without Steam. http://www.multiupload.com/NGO1U9I5S0 |

The MP version worked but the SP version crashed, meaning that it's unable to load the main menu. I suppose the "steam_api.dll" is responsible for the exes to run. I bet it needs a permanent non-steam version. |
