I want game to not have access to internet,and not to download everytime crack again.I dont use antivirus,firewall or something like that programs.I think that only way is with HOST file but i dont know which server game assess and what exactly to write i there.How to make that?

There are several tools out there, which allow you to view your current network connections. Use one of them to get the host and block it with your Hosts file (e.g. google.de 127.0.0.1)

I've used the base Windows Firewall to block SKIDROW's launcher from the internet. I also tossed the app exe into the block list just in case. To do this you can type 'firewall' into the start menu, click on inbound/outbound (on the left) and then "New Rule..." on the right side. Go through and block the executables from accessing the internet as it's fairly self-explanatory from there.

As far as I know, hosts file will only work if the game tries to contact the offending host via its name. So if it uses IPs, that won't work.

mroussev, if you want to completely block the program's network access, use NoNet. Otherwise, do as illpillow said, run a program like TCPView to find the server's IP, and then block it in your firewall.

If one has a firewall enabled, blocking the application sounds somewhat easier.

And yes, do use a firewall. As a matter of fact, I would never recommend to disable Windows Firewall.

How to use this?I start game,start it,pressed inject and nothing.LAunche still connect.Next time too...


TCPView gives DONT SEND error in ntdll.dll.Give me names of other programs like that.



As a last option how to do this exactly.I m using XP.I added launcher in exceptions,untick it but still game still connect.

I just want not to use additional programs that must be run before game,and dont want to use firewall.So host file is only option?

you can use the skidrow's crack for the new update and you should be fine untill the next update.

You must use it from the command line if you want it to be effective. In other words, you should create a shortcut that runs the following command.


Obviously, you should replace the paths and filenames with the real ones. After that, try running the game using that shortcut to see if it works. Bear in mind the game will have no network access whatsoever this way.



As it's been said, using the hosts file may or may not work. If NoNet doesn't do the trick, then try that. You have nothing to lose.

Yes,i know that work.BTW there is already Test.Drive.Unlimited.2.Update.1-SKIDROW in TL and work fine but i want to know whats the methods to block program to use internet and decide to experiment with TDU2

I know Process Viewer will also let you know which hosts a process is connecting to in real time.

Hm...here?I am not sure where to find hosts in program.It give me only IP,not hosts name so wil not work right?

XP's firewall can't block outgoing connections. Upgrade to a modern OS, not 10.5 year old one.

Sure, create a routing entry to prevent establishing any route to that IP. HOSTS file most likely won't work.
