I had homefront installed with phoenix beta before so i removed it all, then i bought homefront but when i attempt to download homefront it just pauses, somehow steam thinks homefront is already installed but its not. uninstalled steam and phoenix, cleaned appdata folder, no trace of homefront left on the pc, running registry cleaners and still it pauses when attempting to download through steam. Its not a steam problem all games download normally so it has to be tied to phoenix somehow. |

1st phoenix dont install, it extracts. 2nd i think its a steam problem, cos i experienced it myself with pause, etc. |

I think also it is a steam related problem and has nothing to do with cracked homefront or phoenix (especially since you erased everything and even used a reg cleaner) write a support ticket but don't mention the cracked Homefront and phoenix. just tell them the game pauses while updating and you can't get it to continue. see what they can do for you ... afaik steam support is sometimes slow but they really want to help if you keep a mature approach and don't swear at them in your first mail

restore your computer to b4 homefront? |

Try this : right click on homefront in steam,properties,local game files,verify the intregrity of game cache file and then pause download and resume download... |
