Well downloaded HL2 over steam with te exploid thing...
After that i tried the AI_fix.rar wich is postet here on forum but
it still dont fixed the problem...

After that i searched a bit in IRC and found this "Half-Life.2.NOSTEAM.READNFO" the file is 11MB small.
U must run hl2 now over an file called launcher.exe
no more shortcut with -steam....

Nomore internet connection is needed!
Nomore Steamengine.exe wich need internetconnection
Nomore SteamApp.cfg...

All in one: Its an great Fix!

Now HL2 runs like a sharm without any errors!
maybe all the "New" working repacks use the same thing?!?

I think the notes files would be a lot more helpful. It'll save on the open slots on FTPs for those that need all the files. I think it's kinda dumb for people to have to download 1.5GB for a 3kb file.

Yes the FTP is down - Someone DDoS'd it, Admins found out...there not happy at all. Thats gonna be big trouble for a few people unfortunately.

It's being seeded! Yes its true. It's on a public tracker, I leave it to you to find it. Me, fdh, prime and possibly two others are seeding it.
