if a bug occurs, then thats the time that i will use Thal's new patch...

Strange...The elevator scene that has this problem, it´s when you meet that girl for the first time ? I´m using the first torrent from Thal, without any kind of fixes, and have no problem with it.I stopped playing when you arrive at train station. Best Regards, Mutley. |

it's right, some peoples have no errors (elevator), but most have. if you don't apply the patch you will have bugs! believe me. It's just the one scene with the elevator. she stands before, doesn't want to go in. You go in, press F6 (Quicksave) and F9 (Quickload) and she follows you.IT'S THE ONLY BUG! not fixable atm! you don' t do anything wrong if you apply the patch! |

this fix includes ALL FIXES! so if you have the "old" version of thal, you don't need to redownload, just apply the fix above (11.4mb)! |

i already downloaded the 1.56gb file... it has 3 rar files and 1 text file... the procedure is to double click the first rar file "hl2.part1.rar" right? will the extraction continue until the third rar file or do i have to manualy extract the other 2 rar files? what version of winrar do i need? |

w/e the current one is, not sure.....if there is a plain .rar file u need to click on that one......if there isnt , then click on part 1.....not sure how the hl2 rars r set up in that file......u may have to extarct all 3......the way to test it is if u view whats in them b4 u extract and they all look the same then probably u only need to do one adn usually they r all the same size if. ie: hl2.rar hl2.r01.rar hl2.r02.rar u would need to probably only do the hl2.rar and the other ones will extract. or: hl2.part1.rar hl2.part2.rar u may need to do them individually |

open the first rar-file (part1) and extract it. it will extract part 2-3 also if they are in the same dir! |

hi peolpe i heare about extracting problems in my old version the best way to extract the files - 1. Install Winace - newest version www.winace.com 2. go to the folder HL² 3. Right mousbutton on hl2.part1.rar - 716 MB. 4. Extract to... Now you must wait winace extract all files includes part 2 und part 3. i hope this work for you.
