@THAL: now i write on english so that nobody is crying :D
you can edit on your first page that you should delete the fille config.cfg in the hl2/cfg/ folder. If it is deleted, everything gets back to standart (also the background of the menu!)! If you start a game than, hl2 creates a new, clean config.cfg!

i tested it, works great!

Yes, from Thal´s original, the option menu shows a pictiure if I´m not wrong of a bridge, or something.After the patch, it shows a house, I guess, and I had to reconfigurate my settings too.

Yes, from Thal´s original, the option menu shows a pictiure if I´m not wrong of a bridge, or something.After the patch, it shows a house, I guess, and I had to reconfigurate my settings too.


oh yeah, that's right, the patch overwrites the config.cfg. you can reset it to defaults by deleting the config.cft! hl2 will create a new one the next time you start hl2 and everything will be fine

CAN SOME OTHERS ALSO TRY THIS: IF YOU HAVE DELETED hl2\cfg\config.cfg THE ELEVATOR BUG IS GONE! I ALWAYS HAD THIS BUG BEFORE, AFTER DELETING I DON'T!!!!!!

...could this be fixed?? :roll: by tweaking the config or do you have a solution or patch for this text problem?


...i have stuttering in some parts of the game...
...maybe i need to upgrade to forceware 67.02 drivers...
...i'm using right now the 66.93 official nvidia drivers...

the stuttering ingame is also in the original version. valve is making a patch for it atm!
this "bug" goes away after some seconds, doesn't it?

hmm, no idea how it could be solved, but anyway: this get's away after some seconds so it doesn't really disturb! ai bugs do :wink:

these yellow things are tipps for playing i think, look into the options, perhaps you can disable them somehow, i didn't try!
