actually it just needs a steam emu that you dont get the ai prob.. i could have said it earlier but ya can use the steamengine and steamapp thingy from online play and play with it :/ |

Oh this does sound good.... theyve even been ranting on about it over at the steam forums...people pissed off that a cracked version runs better than the actual retail copy! LOL Anyway quick question!!!! I own the DVD version and want to be able to install it on a mates PC yet he doesnt have the internet....so will the crack take care of the decrytion of the files? and play the game easily without the need for the DVD????? |

ok downloaded and installed it it works like a sharm.
Its including HL2 and CSS nothing more and englisch audio only! im Downloading the german gcf files for hl2 and css and make an repack of the vengeance version cause i dont want english only

The release is perfect BUT not 100% offline... U MUST UPDATE STEAM (so you must have internet connection) to use the crack even with the Half-Life_2_Retail_Offline_Installer-VENGEANCE Maybe someone could create a steam installation with updated file and updated registry keys... so it'll be 100% offine...

I've tried steamengine.exe and steamapp.cfg. It doesn't work. hl2.exe doesn't want to communicate with them. Someone will have to work out another way to get it going online. In case you don't realise: It fixes all the errors. It runs the same as steam runs it, so no errors, you get a perfectly running game. |

Relocating(Moving) your gcf files to your half-life 2 directory and getting rid of steam for good for offline play You dont have to have steam installed and you can have your gcfs wherever you want them. ideally half-life 2 directory. Here is the thread http://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7795 |

I have install from the 5cd version hl2 After editing the .ini file it now finds the game ok but after running the Patch file I get errors extracing the files still makes a shortcut a dead one....The only thing I can see is that I have no =half-life source.gcf All of the rest of the gcf files are in the \SteamApps folder But not this one= half-life source.gcf Using the V e n g e a n c E patch Any Idears Thanks |
