I dont know about the rest of you but this DOESNT work for me.

I created a shortcut with -steam and -console like told in the .nfo. But when i try to run it i get the following message:

"Unable to get IFileSystem interface from filesystem factory"

..... HELP?

Hey, thx for the work in posting the releases, but some ppl on the newsgroups had trouble with HALF-LIFE.2.OFFLINE.NOSTEAM.REPACK-AHU - cuz only parts 1-123 of .r19 and .r21 showed up, so I dont think the AHU repack ever really made it out.

I waited a few days and checked another couple of servers, and it didn't make it there either. I don't think many usenet ppl know about this board, which is probably how it should be

Anyway, if anyone got .r19 and .r21 complete from usenet, could they pls repost? thx!

Anyone have luck with this release? i have it installed but after making a new game my computer restarts before it can load the level. any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

i update it to v7 and istal hl2:dm an dall works fine, even single player don't give any errors

if any1 got it, could they pls repost? the rar was in 50,000,000 byte chunks, r32 was 22865444 bytes, only r19 and r21 were incomplete. (i'm watching abcig, abci, and abg, saw lots of repost reqs - dont think any1 there got it either)

don't use it myself, but why would you make a whole new release instead of just making a fix -or releasing the repack AND a fix for those who got the 1st version.

So I finally found a torrent for this thing...

I still don't know if It's what I need. I want to be able to use mods with a hacked version of HL2. Is that what this AHU release can deliver? Can I be unequivocally certain that there's a way to do that, or when it says offline does that mean just that? No 3rd part anything, no LAN... no nothing?

Do steam emulators work with this release or do those steam emulators require the basic framework for steam to still be intact? The way you guys make it sound. It's like you ripped steam right out so that might not be a feasible option for me. I honestly don't know much about what you guys did to your release of HL2 or how steam emus work or any of that. So I'm just sort of sitting here trying to make sense of it all.

Anyfeedback or useful info I can get would be appreciated.
