Great tut but i have a problem with Action Half Life... Everytime when i try to connect or start a server on my own, HL always fucks up at the validating game resources screen.....dont know what to do.... |

im pretty sure i did. do i need to change the steamappid=92 to something else? isnt there a diff number for dod for the steamappid? |

nope...thats what the -steam -game dod is for.... when u extract the dod gcf, it creates a dod folder, then u stick this folder into your root hl folder, maybe u didnt do thtat part right... so if u extract hl engine and hl gcf, u had to create a folder such as half life....so for example c:\half-life so then it would be: c:\half-life\dod then u make a shortcut of hl.exe and add the target properties -steam -game dod works fine...there is something u didnt do right....check the tut again |
