well...no one tells me anything useful, ok, now I know gcf is in steamapp folder, but how do I update my gcf. Do I download the offical steam engine to update? I am using the easy installer version of css. |

you have to use cd-key exploit to update gcf's...enter cd-key, crash steam after 1 bar, restart steam and change game properties to allow automatic updates |

rofl i've done that but it still comes up with "serial not valid shit" after i restart steam. maybe its normal but THEN what do i do >.O i can't see any games in my games cept codename gordon ..... and i don't see any options for allow auto updates . |

Vengeance Status = WORKS! You have to copy server.dll from the new "counter-strike source shared.gcf" to the bin folder in "Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\bin" directory, else that Server uses different class tables comes up. I also put the new client.dll in there from "counter-strike source client.gcf" Good luck to all vengeance users. 
HL2:DM still doesn't work, but working on it. |
