Post subject:  Half Life 2 Linux

Anybody sucessfully get half life 2 to run under cedega in Linux. I used the the up to date monster fix on my windows partition so half life works perfectly on my windows partition. I just pasted over the Valve dir over to my linux partition in my transgaming directory. But when i try to run hl2, I get "Failed to load launcher dll" file not found. Anybody get the half life 2 version to work or any ideas on how to?

I also tried to run the ppatcher.exe under wine or cedega but it cannot read the ppatcher.ppc config file

HL2 works with Cedega 4.2+ very well.

Did you download or buy hl2? If downloaded, where?

I didn't mean I want to get HL2,
I have already got it (1st emporio release :D )
I just wanted to mention that different pirated releases may behave differently. So to get the particular release to work one must know where does it come from.
