After some early tests of this i am going to tentatively declare that this is the end of all other types of exploit to get any valve game working. Why use another method when you can just download and launch from steam itself. Only the serverely anti steam people will continue with other methods. I can see Emporio and Vengence losing followers.

we can i change the language im german and steam german and the games start in englisch?

I´m getting this while trying to download a game (i.e. condition zero) with the new ppatcher (but I can still play the games that I have already downloaded)
However, If I use the old ppatcher.exe and ppachter.ppc, I can download and install my games

Old half-life games still don't work or don't work properly both with the emu and ppatcher. With the emu, dod and cz load and I am able to play, but I get this when connecting to servers:

Ingoring customization upload, couldn't find decal locally"
It ignores all the custom config settings, fonts, xhairs, models, so everything is default.
When I try cs (1.6), it does not load, giving the "Failed to open GCF archive" error.
Is there any way to make the old half-life games work properly?

For theose, who want to hear Hl2 on his own language just
Go to Settings -> Language ->
Choose English language.
Hit apply.
Do not agree to restart now.
Close steam manualy.
Open steam and choose your language again: Rus, Ger ect.
Restart steam in the same way again.
Now try to start hl2 and steam will download all needed files for your language!

One thing is missing to make this perfect
something to stop steam updates, cause i know, in the next steam update ppatcher will stop to work, like the old versions of ppatcher
