Updated ppatcher to version V5.

Version V5 update for functionality with the latest steam update.

ppatcher.ppc V5

Functionality:
  • Download any game on steam
  • Selectively install any game on steam
  • Backup steam games like normal
  • Game download gets to 100%, status ready and offlinemode enabled
  • Both source, non-source and all tools are working fine.
  • Some compatiblity problems people were having should be solved.
  • All games are playable on-line on any server
  • Compatible with Steam Client update 06-01-05

Notes:
  • If ppatcher gives you an error about not being able to find the module, close steam and restart ppatcher.
  • Make sure you copy the ppc correctly without any spaces at the end of the lines!
  • Make use of the attached download if possible, it will prevent errors and contains the latest ppatcher.exe with Windows 2003 support, thanks to ducky.

Steam Emulator 2.50
Its just a matter of time till ppatcher.ppc will stop working, so here is the new Steam Emulator version 2.50.

  • It supports the latest Steam update and allows online play.
  • Also support for Half-Life 1 Engine games is added.
  • An installer for Half-Life: Source is included now too, provided you have the needed GCF.
  • Added support for (source) dedicated server
  • Added support for SDK


Notes:
  • The emulator supports non-source engine games now, although no installers for them are available yet. I'm sure someone will make them. Or just install the game with ppatcher and copy steam.dll in the game bin dir, steamemu.ini and steamapps.ini in the game directory.
  • The ini format has been changed to make it support multiple games, the format is pretty straightforward, so just read the .ini.
  • If the emulator gives an error about a missing section in the steamemu.ini file that means the .ini is not configurated for that combination of engine (hl1,hl2 or cs) and mod yet, just open up the steamemu.ini, and add the section for the specific game you are trying to launch. The format is obvious when you read the ini file.

i pasted the config dats in the patcher.ppc but its not working... plz fix it.. and i gotta question wuts better but ur new steamemu??? should i update it to 2.50??

it works perfect! just edit your ppatcher.ppc and delete space symbols at the end of each line.

how do i download the gcf's? ive now got all games in my games menu. but most are grayed out and says my purchase is still being evaluated or something like that, and i cant update it. Dod is not grayed out, but when i select always keep udated, it says error 104 not suscribed. can someone help me out?

why make a skin? just replace it with the old .ppc and if it doesnt work dl the new version 3.93....
