Hey,
I found out that my room mate had Retail and I have SiX... If i use Six by any chance will he get his account banned because we are on the same network?

Okay, since thats out of the way..... what happens if i use his GCF's?
i noticed that his is all 5 KB's highier.. maybe that 5 kbs holds his register info?

what im trying to say is... will his account get banned for me using his GCF's?

Nothing will happen if you copy his GCF files to your computer. Just make sure that you have access to those games ;)

That his files are 5 kb larger then yours doesn't matter, Steam doesn't store any account or other additional info in the GCF files, but in the Clientregistry.blob file.
