| Post subject: | Weird graphical glitch |
I am using CS:S emporio 8 and im not sure where to post this but here goes. This graphics distortation only happens when i switch to directx 7.0. This is so i can play aztec without lag at all.. How do i get rid of these? Any help will be followed by a million thanks. Those things seems to only come out from light sources ps. how do you enable the high resolution shadow for dx 7.0? i hate those blobs! |

Its showing you where lights would normally be placed. I had this problem before aswell but seemed to go away, I believe its bumping you down to a lower directx version and thus not producing those lights. How to fix it, im not sure, you may have a -dxlevel set wrong, graphical settings set wrong, but thats my best guess. Edit: sorry missed your message under the screenshot! But ya it appears lower dxlevel = less detail = no lights. |

Thx for replying. So the question now is " how to enjoy lower directx settings without seeing those craps? " |
