Ok... I've posted a message regarding this before... Unfortunately the problem has not been solved... Ok first to confirm... I create a server by clicking New Game.
Then type:
sv_lan 0
addip 0 <myip from whatismyip.com>

Ok I've done all these... Why is it that my friend cant add this to fav and cant connect to it? Help? Is this due to my CS settings? I have switched off my firewall even...

did u restart pc after turning off firewall? try restarting firewall, restart pc, then start cs, and see if u get a unblock message...but next time use your same topic plz, dont start a new one

oh... Sorry... Yeah restarted PC. Does this have anything to do with the CS program? Mine is No-Steam I think... I run by clicking CS 1.6 logo on desktop.

no...i know for a fact its firewall...because it was blocked b4 u shut it down, windows firewall is funny like that...try d/ling another firewall, and unblock it by that

u can d/l most cracked firewalls via kazaa, edonkey, or torrents

I have BT but I dont know where to get torrents frm ever since suprnova closed down... Im sorry but do u mind helping me find 1?

im not sure if u have to sign up first to use it, but try w/o first....it should tell u if u have to sign up first once you open it with BT.

then go to:

its the non pro version i think... Just the firewall itself. It lags my com bad... Oh well... Guess it did solve the server problem. My friend is able to connect now. Thanks alot for ur help Dred!

Downloading Norton Personal Firewall 2005 trial now... Zonealarm lags too mcuh

np, now u should be able to turn off the new firewall and it should still work

u mean after I unblock CS, I can delete the firewall and it still works?

just turn if off first and see if it works, and if it does.. then u can uninstall, but keep the d/l just incase you need it again
