Setup:

Download and install Garry's Mod 9.0.4b from here, here or here.
Delete the "gmod9\mods" folder.
Extract the archive into the root folder of your extracted game.

This package will do the following:

Make version 9.0.4b of Garry's Mod playable offline with an extracted version.
The game will think it is version 8.3b because of some changes.
Remove most of the extra functions that were added in version 9.0.4b.
Add support for the new models from CS: Source.
Add support for Militia and other maps from CS: Source.
Add support for the player models and maps from DoD: Source.
Fix the mods so that icons and other things work as they should.
Replace the black and purple error boxes to dark grey ones for added maps.
Rename some things.
Remove the Mod Manager.

You will not be able to play online with those files. Maybe on cracked servers if everyone has this package.
There are better ways to play this mod, but I prefere this one for LAN-play.

I removed the whole Mod-menu, but the mod cache should still be there....

I made a minor update. Download it if you want.

I tried to create a server, but I get the following error.

"Engine Error

Unable to load authentication library, Exiting..."

Does anyone, hopefully the crackers, know how to bypass this...?

If no one is able to fix this, I will go backwards and apply this to version 8.3b or wait for Garry to release the next version.

Edit: This error has nothing to do with this release, but he updated Source Engine.
If I replace today's Source Engine files with old ones, I get this error:

"Disconnected

STEAM validation rejected"

If I apply the Cix Emulator, the server won't start and I get back to the main menu.

By the way, this is great. Works fine for me, though I probably won't be needing it, I just wanted to see if it worked properly. GJ.

I made a fix for this error by taking some files from the old Source Engine.

Edit 2: Don't use this fix. It makes it possible to create a server, but the game will crash if you go to "Advanced" in Options.
Use the old Source Engine files from before the latest update or cracked ones if you want to play.

Does anyone use this..? I thought of adding support for some more things,
but as it shouldn't be too far until version 10 is released, I won't do anything more if no one uses this.
