If you get a few "Pattern not found" messages then it is ok coz patch supports both source engine Proto7 and Proto 8/9(Source 2007 engine). So each one of them has a few shared patterns and a few specific to Pro family.

So it must be fine(checked it against latest Proto 7 and Proto 9 engines).

well after i used your patch on my standalone ,nothing happened
the same error in the server browser appear that says that
in need steam running .

maybe i did something wrong ?

Serverbrowser is a steamemu bug(nothing to do with my patch - im engine reverser[cracker] not steam cracker )

So just try shmelle's(REVOLUTiON) emulator(replace steam.dll)

Unsure if it is compatible with my patch but i think it should work just fine

Also my patch fixes "The server requires what you be running Steam" for clients who want to join to non-steam servers while using -nosteam mode

Yout talk about "Steam Beta must be running to make use of Find Servers" error what appears in steam Browser... We talk about different thing here

Yeah, it would be only.

There can't be a superlative of only, but people tend to use it in german. Because of such things, it's always easy to find out who's german at an english forum

Make sure you have steamclient.dll available to the game. Take it from steam installation and put it somewhere nearby (for example in bin/ folder).
