Oh, that's normal. It crashes after stealing your accounts.
I removed directory checks. I hope it will work now. (DL from first post.)

Hehehhe. After it says
Quote: OMG! You are a fucking pacfag! You are a fag!
it displays one "Fag!" for each check you didn't pass and there are 6 checks.
Edit:
ChrisTX:
Oops
No, you are not. Fixed again

Do I need to install .Net Framework 3, or something like that? It displays an error when I try to run it...
It says: "Couldn't start the app because the configuration was incorrect. Reinstalling the app may solve the problem"
In case it matters, i tried redownloading, running it from Steam's directory...

I guess it's easier to consider if you used pacsteam or not. I didn't, so I'm no pacfag. Easy as that

Same here... Absolutely nothing happens when I try to run both versions (I don't even get a "working in background" cursor), and when I run it through Sandboxie it crashes with "error 2: file not found"

You have a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." bug.
at CheckSubKeys(RegistryKey key) at PacSteamDetections() at main(String[] args) at mainCRTStartupStrArray(String[] arguments)
The problem is that "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Thraex Software\AutoUpdator\Programs" does not exist on my machine. (So "CheckSubKeys" should return false if the given RegistryKey is null.)

There is no problem with that function. PacSteamDetections() has the problem.

Yes, there is a problem, because I got that exception when I ran it (and Visual Studio gave me that for the debugging feedback)... so there is an exception there. (I can't tell you where because there are no debugging symbols, but that is the stack trace I got.) Proof:
Also, I found another problem. Rather than using "C:\\Documents and Settings\\" + UserName + "\\Start Menu\\", use Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.StartMenu). This is because Vista stores the start menu items in a different location. (Also if you have roaming profiles it will crash too.)
