HOW TO EXTRACT GFC FILES



- USING GCFSCAPE

YOU NEED THESE PROGRAMS


DOWNLOAD GCFSCAPE

DOWNLOAD Microsoft .NET Framework

1- START GCFSCAPE

1.1 - OPEN THE FILES ARE IN YOU \STEAM\STEAMAPPS FOLDER YOU NEED TO EXTRACT THEM IN THE ORDER BELLOW (STEP 2) , SELECT THERE CONTENT , OPEN ONE AT A TIME.



NOTICE THAT THE NUMBERS INSIDE THE RED "CIRCLE" MUST BE THE SAME
(THESE ARE JUST AN EXAMPLE.. IT DOESNT MEAN THAT YOUR FILES HAVE THESE NUMBERS... BUT THEY HAVE TO MATCH ON BOTH SIDES
...IF YOUR NUMBERS DIFFER, THEM YOU MUST REDOWNLOAD/UPDATE THE GCF'S

1.2 - CREATE A NEW FOLDER (WHERE YOU WANT TO INSTALL THE GAME) , OR USE A FOLDER YOU ALREADY HAVE.



1.3 - EXTRACT THE GCF FILE

--> condition zero models
--> counter-strike.gcf
--> half-life engine.gcf
--> half-life.gcf
--> platform.gcf (create a folder called "platform" inside your game folder and extract this one to it)

CRACK - HEREITS INSIDE THE CRACKS FOLDER

SHORTCUT -STEAM -CONSOLE -GAME CZERO


DAY OF DEFEAT

--> day of defeat.gcf
--> half-life engine.gcf
--> half-life.gcf
--> platform.gcf (create a folder called "platform" inside your game folder and extract this one to it)

WITH THIS METHOD YOU NEED TO APPLY THE CRACK AFTER EXTRACTING THE GAME OR IT WONT WORK, JUST COPY EVERYTHING INSIDE CRACKS\HLGAMES OR CRACKS\SOURCEGAMES (DEPENDING ON YOUR GAME OF COURSE) TO YOUR GAME FOLDER


THE ONLINE GAMES REQUIRE EDITING THE STEAMAPPS.CFG WITH NOTEPAD ... CHANGE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD

it s CSS/cstrike/bin folder that has to be copy past... to HL2/hl2/bin folder...

I am sure it s what you meant... but few people just don t get it... be clear !

yes indeed... now it is all clear...

I'm screwed now, how do you do this. I extracted all the gcfs, and how do I play it. What files do I need to add, I'm sure I need more than the emporio crack, don't I need to add steamengine.exe as well.

WHAT GAME? CSS? EMPROIO CSS COMES WITH STEAM ENGINE

ohh sory but i extract czero gcf but when i pressing on the game i seeing only hl not czero can anyone help, where i must inlstal the steamfucker?? to my czero folder??

this is for all hl2 games. Don't worry now, I worked out that the two steam.dll files were conflicting with each other. If the steam.dll needed for steamengine.exe is in the same folder as hl2.exe, hl2.exe thinks that that steam.dll is the one it uses. Except it's meant to use the one in /bin. Then if you use that one, steamengine.exe can't use that steam.dll. So I fixed that by putting them in different folders.
But now I can't play the game, but remix has just told me that I need to download the emporio version 5 update.
