Hello Guys..

listen this is not big deal, it's so very easy..

credits goes to Vengeance for thier wonderful emulator.. and the fix is my idea.

many of you get this certificate error 1024

the FIX is:

when you update your steam.. just anytime.. copy the STEAM.DLL file and put it into your Vengeance Game Installer folder..

like:

CSS Installer - HL2 Installer and what so ever..

then Rename it to be:

steam.org

then install your desired game from Vengeance... and up you go...

no more things to worry about..

and hey. everytime you get this CERTIFICATE SHIT ERROR.. do the ABOVE method and it'll WORKKKKKKK

the Current steam.dll file size is: 3.62 MB (3,796,992 bytes)

not a fix to launch steam first because people runs already steam and still getting the same error......

so the fix is what I just told you all here.. because I tried allllllllll

here i get 1024 only when i try to play with steam closed

ps: i use the steam emu 2.01 with correct steam.dll path in the steamemu.ini

ok, first.. I downloaded a vengeance 2.33 with HL Source installer.. so will that be a problem ?

well, first off just edit your posts..dont triple post (people dont like it)
and secondly it shouldnt matter.
when steam updates take the steam.dll like he says, and follow instructions

for all i care delete steam.dll and let it redownload
