I'm curious how it will play, but it seems more like an arcade tennis game.
I played Virtua Tennis, Top Spin and Tennis Master Series and now I play more simulations like Full Ace or Tennis Elbow.

Hell yeah, even if it's arcade based like Virtua Tennis, I'll still play it!

The multiplayer should be a blast to play with Steamworks support ::)

Looking forward to trying this, I still have Virtua Tennis 3 on my PC ATM...

I hope it's at least a little more user-friendly than that Full Ace Tennis Simulator...

Release has been out back to June 12th and comes with a big day one patch. This means the game has significant problems on PC. Console release dates are more the less on time. Devs have concentrated on these versions, esp the ps4, as they will make them the most money. PC will be lowest priority. Commercially that makes sense.
We must take part of the blame for devs reluctance to give PC games the same priority as consoke.
I'm looking forward to this game. Sadly the game already seems to be having problems on PC.
I remember I stunning tennis game on the Zx spectrum many years ago. The AI was outstanding for the time. We are going back maybe 35 years here when technology like this was in its infancy.
With limited experience of this like AI they could make better games than today. It actually played a better game than the awful big ant attempt.
Tennis games have always been big so why have there been so few decent ones over time?
Finger crossed for this one.

And according to Bigben’s Alain Falc, the game was only 20% complete a few weeks before its official release. Falc told newspaper Le Monde that the game’s launch was chaotic and the publisher could not delay it due to marketing reasons (and in order to have a Tennis game available during the French Open tournament).

Falc also stated that a refined version will be coming in 2019, and a brand new Tennis World Tour game will come out in 2020-2021. Not only that, but the unfinished version of Tennis World Tour we currently have will still be a financial success. Falc said that Bigben has already shipped 500K copies to distributors and some of them have no right to return them.

Lawsuit incoming. I'm gaming since 1984, this is the first time I see a dev admitting that they pushed in the market an incomplete product just to make money. I'm absolutely speechless.

Yup. That's the worst I've ever heared from a Publisher. You can just answer by downloading a cracked copy. These guys do not deserve any money.
