Is there any possibility to specify the Steam Content server from which one wants to download?
Because most of the time i get one in the 500 range which are unavailable. My friend gets Content Server from around 1000 and onward which work fine as they should.

Use a program that supports sqlite editing and viewing to change the .servers file. I haven't tested this but it should work providing TINcft doesn't update it on start.

1) I also want the "download_depot" feature in TINcft. And it also can download .manifest file to verify those files.
2) I also stuck at "No available content server" while trying to download specific manifest.

also tincft can download depots or manifests (if u own them), but maybe you have to add that in [config]:
expertMode = true

Tried to download manifest (works):
  1.  INFO - Connecting to CM server
  2.  INFO - Logged in
  3.  INFO - Connected to CM server
  4.  INFO - Requesting 20 content servers for cell 10
  5. DEBUG - Retrieved 20 content servers
  6.  INFO - Connecting to content server
  7.  INFO - Requesting depot 105601 manifest version 5797236311978194792
  8.  INFO - Disconnecting from content server
  9.  INFO - Disconnecting from CM server

But can't find how to download specific depot. I know that I can download the latest version of game files, but can I download older depot versions described by those older manifests?

Sorry for interrupting with a noob question, but i couldnt find the answer via search and since there's no "getting started guide", i just have to ask.

Tinserver and Client are both up and running fine already (hope multiplayer will still work since steam released a new update a few days ago), now i want to fill it with some games for our little lanparty (i need depot+manifest+acf files, right?) from my legal account using Tincft (as i gather from reading lots of posts Tincft does it all).
I updated AppsInfo as mentioned in first post, then tried to start install of Terraria (depot 105601) and get the following error noone else seems to have:

INFO | Connected to CM server
INFO | Starting tool (downloader)
INFO | Selected content server valve1205.steamcontent.com (#1205)
ERROR | Error with tool (downloader) : Gone
WARN | Flagged content server as unreliable valve1205.steamcontent.com (#1205)
INFO | Tool result : download failed
INFO | Finished tool (downloader)
INFO | Cleared Steam apps
INFO | Loading Steam apps

Dont know what im doing wrong. Usually i can figure these things out myself. Sounds to me like im missing a downloader which is "gone"?! Thanks for any help and still continuing development.

Have you tried downloading it more than once? If it doesn't work you can use steamcmd. If you use steamcmd you will have to remove your steam id from the acf file once done.

But do try again as it could just be a temp server issue. We will see.

edit: DRM file's fail to download with "Empty file"

i just tried with lara croft and guardian of light demo (free ceg app) and it works ...
be sure that you first download the "raw" ceg executables (you may keep a copy of it of grap the raw from the archive "split" folder), then you try to download ceg for the right CPU (which will merge the raw and ceg to produce the full ceg executable)

When you say download raw.. Do you mean the button that says download legit ceg? Because that also returns empty file..

Let me try it with a different game.
