Legit mode Features:

Installation (SteamLite):
1. Copy GreenLuma_Reborn_x86.dll and GreenLuma_Reborn_x64.dll to your SteamLite folder.
2. Start SteamLite.exe or SteamLite64.exe.
3. Follow the instructions in the SteamLite window.

Installation (Steam):
1. Backup the original bin\x64launcher.exe.
2: Copy GreenLuma_Reborn_x86.dll, GreenLuma_Reborn_x64.dll and GreenLuma_Reborn.exe to your Steam folder and x64launcher.exe to the bin folder.
3. Start Steam with GreenLuma_Reborn.exe.

Legit stealth mode (Steam):
1. Copy GreenLuma_Reborn_x86.dll, GreenLuma_Reborn_x64.dll and GreenLuma_Reborn.exe to your Steam folder.
2. Make a shortcut to GreenLuma_Reborn.exe and add "-NoHook" as a parameter.
3. Start Steam with the shortcut.

Stats and Achievements
Saving of stats and achievements is disabled by default, to enable them you must set a registry key.

  1. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
  2.  
  3. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GLR\AppID\AppIDHere]
  4. "SkipStatsAndAchievements"=dword:00000000


Put this in a .reg file and replace "AppIDHere" with the AppID for the game.

Some games will try to read an infinite number of achievements or stats (DOOM and Dishonored 2 for example), you can limit them by doing this:

  1. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
  2.  
  3. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GLR\AppID\AppIDHere]
  4. "SkipStatsAndAchievements"=dword:00000000
  5. "AchievementsLimit"=dword:00000032
  6. "StatsLimit"=dword:0000000a


The value is in hex, this would set stats to 10 and achievements to 50.

Disable GreenLuma Reborn Server Ticket Generation
If this value is set to 1, GreenLuma Reborn will not create a custom server ticket. This is needed for a few games to start.

  1. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
  2.  
  3. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GLR\AppID\AppIDHere]
  4. "DisableGLRServerTicket"=dword:00000001


Overlay
If this value is set to 1, x64launcher.exe will inject the Steam In-game overlay dll into the game. This will break some games and fix the overlay for some.

  1. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
  2.  
  3. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GLR]
  4. "LoadOverlayDll"=dword:00000001


Real-time server logging
This will create a "GreenLuma_Reborn_UpdateUserData" log file that contains information about all players in your server.

  4. "LogUpdateUserData"=dword:00000001

Back to the GreenLuma roots with "legit" steam support? Now that's actually pretty cool news, many thanks Steam006! ;)

EDIT:

Ok, I did a few quick tests on my legit steam client / account with the following results: Adding DLC to an app I actually own works flawlessly, family sharing restrictions and region locks are bypassed perfectly fine also. What I wasn't able to do was to add a game neither me nor one of my sharing friends owns legit to my account, I e.g. put the single appID for Endless Space 2 and Space Beast Terror Fright, but none of those games actually was visible in my library. Now I don't know if such a feature is supposed to be present at all, esp. given the fact that downloading such games won't work anyway.

Ah, many thanks for that important piece of information, I wasn't aware that you could need an .acf file to make a game appear in the library in the first place, I always thought steam would only check its .acfs to determine if a game actually is installed, gets updated and whatever else. Seems things are different in the world of GreenLuma... ;)

Ok, so I did a few more tests, here the results:

- NieR Automata crashes on startup when GLR is used, no matter if the account already owns it or GLR should add it
- Shadow Warrior freezes after / during the title movies, I'm pretty sure that's because of their custom ownership checks, as CreamAPI e.g. is not able to unlock any DLC on this game either
- Some steamstub-protected games fail to start with steam error 54 (e.g. Pythagoria, Intrude) when added with GLR, while others (e.g. Castle Crashers) work just fine. Successful launch does apparently NOT depend on the stub version used by the respective game or the presence of a steam_appid.txt file.
- Merging CEG binaries for added games is not possible for the client ("servers are too busy to handle your request"), trying to run such games does fail with the same error message.
- Downloading files for added games after an unsuccessful file verification seems to be possible (how the hell did you do that?).
- Subscribing to workshop items works properly for added games, but the actual file download always fails.

I made a simple launcher for GLR that will automatically take care of the renaming steps required for the x64 build to work (yeah, I know, a launcher for a launcher, not the cleanest method), just copy my GreenLuma_Reborn_Launcher.exe together with GreenLuma_Reborn.exe, GreenLuma_Reborn_x64.dll and GreenLuma_Reborn_x86.dll to your base steam folder, make sure that "GameOverlayRenderer64.dll" exists there, then run GLR through my launcher. After you quit steam and GLR, the .dlls will be renamed back to their original state again.

I know for a fact that this game have worked before with GLR, post the game log file, "Steam\GameLogs\GreenLuma_Reborn_AppID.log"

All SteamStub games that you don't own should fail to start with the exception of SteamStub v1. GLR does not crack SteamStub.

Obviously, you can't generate an CEG file for a game you don't own.

Nice indeed. Even though 40 addable appids are for some cases not enough, for example Euro Truck Simulator 2 + All DLCs. :ROFL:
Time for some questions.

1. Since it uses the Gameoverlayrenderer(64).dll, it does not have any steam overlay support right? Will there be a replace for it so we can (optional) get some achievement notification?
2. Are the achievements and stats only working on Steamlite? I tried to test them on Hotline Miami (regular steam method, without sharing, +reg entries like mentioned above [+ right appid don´t worry ::D ]), but i don´t think anything unlocked at all. (locked achievements +35 and on detailed info it says "There was a failure loading user game stats.") Or is there any other way to confirm that stats and achievements have been saved?
3. For denuvo cases, do i have to run it one time on the same machine legit to play it through GLR? has it to be on the same Steam Account? and do i need to have the game shared on this account or not?

Sorry for so many questions and i hope you find the time to answer them. Of course you don´t have to, if you do not want :D

A suggestion (if possible) for the "40 appids" problem, you could try to implement the option of adding bundles/subs as one "appid/dlc" or raising the limit ::D

The overlay is now loaded through ValveOverlay64.dll.

SteamLite is not necessary, it just might not be possible to unlock on that game.

To play Denuvo games with GLR you don't need to be on the same account, but you do need to use SteamLite to first dump "App Ownership Ticket" and "Encrypted App Ownership Ticket" for that game (options 11 and 12). This will create two folders in your SteamLite folder, "AppOwnershipTickets" and "EncryptedAppTickets".

These folders need to be moved to your Steam folder (if they are not the same) before you start the game.

Thanks for your detailed explanation, it for sure will help other users too. It's relieving to know that I apparently did fuck up and GLR is no black magic tool that can download files from Valve's servers without subscription, lol. To answer your last question, the game on which I tested the workshop stuff was "Hammerwatch".
