This emulator will allow you to play GFWL games without even having gfwl crap installed.

Features:
- No more debugging / anti-cheat checks
- Faster game loading
- No longer requires CD-Keys
- Partial DLC support

So far the following games have been tested and work:
- Dawn of War 2
- Batman: Arkham Asylum
- Batman: Arkham City
- Halo 2
- Fable 3

Things that do not work (yet):
- Multiplayer
- Achievements

How to use:
- Extract xlive.dll where the game executable is.
- Start the game
- For DLC see the included txt file

If you want to change your username, it's stored in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\XLiveEmulator in value UserName.

If you find a game that doesn't work with this or another problem not mentioned above, please let me know.

DLC would be nice. MP, I can understand if that won't happen.

I suppose you actually meant gfwl (Games For Windows Live). Is this emu safe to use with gfwl-drm games on legit Steam such as Dirt 2/3?

Cool project dude, in the future maybe you could look into making gotham city imposters work ? But my guess its a lot of work but it seems like a fun arcade game

I think you may get better community support for your project than the anti-steam movement, since GFWL is an awful service compared to Steam.

Yeah, I hate GFWL with passion as well. This reminds me of XLiveless altho iirc it only supported a handful of games. Which further reminds me.. Is the save game location retained in the default location (XLiveless moved them to documents which was.. Pretty nice actually)? And does this skip the encryption part of the saves, meaning, if we decide to switch back to regular GFWL (no idea why anyone would, but perhaps useful if legit/online game) the saves would be screwed / regular GFWL could not read/load them?
Either way, thanks for this fine piece of code. ;) Hope you keep this project maintained for a good while!

My bad, it does not work with Gotham City Impostors, just sayin' something about a missing ordinal 5341 in the DLL.

But this is a pretty awesome work, thanks!

I'll fix the missing ordinal error, but still it won't work with that game since i have not implemented multiplayer yet.
